A northern town built in stages
Woodlands grew in phases. Blocks around Marsiling were among the earliest in the north, more neighbourhoods followed through the 1980s and 1990s, and newer HDB projects and the Woodlands Regional Centre have been added since. It is now one of the largest towns in Singapore.
