What the team does

The technician checks the door for swelling, splits and loose surfaces. A swollen edge is planed only where it binds, and the cut edge is sealed so it doesn't absorb more moisture. Splits and chips are glued and filled. Lifted laminate or veneer is re-glued and clamped where the backing is sound. The door is then rehung and tested.
