Fix a Door Scraping the Floor in Singapore

When this may be needed

What the team does

The technician checks whether the door has dropped or the floor has risen. If the gap at the top of the door is uneven, the hinges are re-fixed and adjusted to lift the door, which is the cleaner fix. If the door hangs correctly but the floor is now higher, the door is taken off its hinges and the bottom edge is trimmed by the amount needed. The cut edge is sealed where possible, especially on bathroom doors, and the door is rehung and tested.
