What the team does
Before the visit, the new sink's size is checked against the countertop opening from measurements, because a drop-in sink must cover the old cut-out. On site, the supply is isolated, the tap and waste disconnected, and the old sealant cut so the sink can be lifted out. The opening is cleaned, the new sink is set on fresh sealant and clamped, and the waste, trap, overflow and tap are connected. The sink is filled and drained to test every joint.
