What the team does
The technician removes the old handle and lock, measures the door thickness, backset and fixing positions, and checks that the new set fits the existing holes. The new lock body or latch is fitted, followed by the handles and spindle. The strike plate is adjusted so the latch and bolt engage cleanly. Every key is tested, and the handles are checked to return to level.

The handle and lockset are charged on top of the labour price. Digital locks, gate locks and repairs to the door or frame are separate tasks.
The price covers one door with a set that fits the existing holes. Sets with a different backset or screw pattern, mortise sets on main doors and fire doors take longer. You can supply your own set, or one can be supplied.
