Wall Shelf Installation in Singapore
Standard wall shelf installation starts from $45 per shelf at SG QuickFix. Bracket shelves for books, kitchen storage, plants and study areas are fixed level, with anchors chosen for the wall and the weight they will carry. Bracket shelves carry more than floating shelves, so they suit heavier loads.

Task guide
When this may be needed
- Books or kitchen items need a strong shelf.
- An existing shelf sags or has pulled away from the wall.
- Shelves must line up evenly above a desk.
- A rail-and-bracket shelving system needs its uprights plumb.
- The wall type is unknown.
What the team does
The technician checks the wall and the load, marks the shelf positions with you and checks for concealed wiring. Brackets are fixed with anchors suited to the wall: plugs or expansion anchors in concrete and brick, drywall anchors in BTO partitions. For rail systems, the uprights are fixed plumb so every shelf sits level. The shelves are fitted, levelled and load-tested by hand.
Included in this price

Limits & price factors
Supplying shelves and brackets, cutting shelves to size, built-in carpentry and tile walls (an add-on) are not included.
The price is per shelf, from $45. Long shelves needing three or more brackets, rail systems and heavy loads on partition walls take longer.
FAQs
At SG QuickFix, standard wall shelf installation starts from $45 per shelf, and floating shelves from $50.
It depends on the brackets, the anchors and the wall. Concrete walls hold heavy loads with the right anchors; HDB says BTO drywall can support common fixtures with appropriate anchors. Tell us what the shelf will carry.
The anchors did not suit the wall or the load. Re-fixing with the right anchors, and adding a bracket on a long shelf, solves it.
HDB limits fasteners to 6 mm in diameter and 40 mm in penetration depth, and household shelter walls allow only shallow fixings. Heavy or excessive drilling is restricted to weekdays between 9am and 5pm.
