Curtain & Blind Installation
Venetian Blind Installation in Singapore
Venetian blind installation starts from $70 per window at SG QuickFix. Aluminium, timber and faux-wood venetian blinds are fitted level inside or outside the window recess, with hold-down brackets where needed, so the slats tilt, lift and lower evenly. Most windows take 30 to 45 minutes.

Task guide
When this may be needed
- Timber venetian blinds are heavy and need strong brackets.
- The blind lowers at an angle, with one side lower than the other.
- The slats don't close fully.
- The blind bangs against the window when it is open.
- Several windows need matching blinds.
What the team does
The technician checks the blind's size and agrees the mounting with you. Headrail brackets are marked level, spaced to carry the blind's weight, and fixed with anchors suited to the wall or ceiling. The headrail is clipped in, and hold-down brackets are fitted at the bottom if the blind will move in a breeze. The blind is lifted, lowered and tilted several times to check it is even.

FAQs

The lift cords are uneven, or the headrail is not level. Re-levelling the brackets and resetting the cord lock usually fixes it.
Yes. Timber and faux-wood blinds are heavier than aluminium, so they need sturdy brackets and secure anchors.
Aluminium and faux-wood blinds handle humidity better than real timber, which can warp.
