Curtain & Blind Installation
Roller Blind Installation in Singapore
Roller blind installation starts from $60 per window at SG QuickFix. Blackout, sunscreen and day-night (zebra) blinds are fitted inside the window recess or on the wall above it, levelled so they roll straight, and tested up and down. Most windows take 20 to 40 minutes.

Task guide
When this may be needed
- Made-to-measure blinds have arrived for several windows.
- A blind rolls unevenly and drifts to one side.
- The blind won't stay up or roll down.
- You are unsure whether to fit inside or outside the recess.
- The window frame is aluminium, with little room for brackets.
What the team does
The technician checks the blind's size against the window and agrees inside or outside mounting with you. Brackets are marked level and fixed with anchors suited to the wall or ceiling, avoiding the aluminium window frame where possible. The blind is clipped in, the chain or spring tension is set, and it is rolled up and down several times. Child-safety chain fittings supplied with the blind are fitted.
Included in this price
- Checking the blind's size against the window
- Fixing level brackets inside or outside the recess
- Setting chain or spring tension
- Testing and fitting supplied chain-safety parts
Limits & price factors
The blinds are not included, and neither is cutting blinds to size. Motorised blinds are quoted separately because they need power and setting up.
The price is per window, from $60. Very wide blinds, blinds over full-height windows and concrete lintels with little space take longer.
FAQs
At SG QuickFix, roller blinds start from $60 per window, and venetian blinds from $70 per window.
Inside the recess looks neat and leaves the sill clear. Outside the recess blocks more light at the edges, which suits blackout blinds.
The brackets are not level, or the fabric is not square on the tube. Re-levelling the brackets fixes the first.
Loose looped chains are a strangling risk for young children. Fit the chain tensioner or cleat supplied with the blind, and keep chains out of reach.
