When this may be needed

• A crystal chandelier with many parts to assemble.
• The chandelier is heavy and the ceiling is a false ceiling.
• A double-height living room or stairwell needs special access.
• The chain or rod length must be set over a dining table.
• The old chandelier's mounting has loosened.

What the team does

Before the visit, the fitting's weight, size and the ceiling height are checked from the product details and photos. On site, the mounting is fixed into the concrete slab with anchors rated above the chandelier's weight, extending through any false ceiling. The chandelier is assembled, its drop set with you, then hung, wired and tested. Crystals and shades are fitted last.

Limits & price factors

The chandelier is not included. Scaffolding for very high ceilings, new light points and dimmers are quoted separately.

The price starts from $150 or is quoted. Heavy fittings, many crystals or arms, ceilings above normal height and false ceilings that need extended fixings take longer.
