Downlight Replacement in Singapore

When this may be needed

• The spring clips no longer hold the downlight in the ceiling.

What the team does

The technician measures the existing cut-out, since downlights must match the hole size. The circuit is isolated, the old downlight pulled down on its clips, and its driver disconnected. The new downlight and driver are connected, the driver placed above the ceiling, and the light pushed back into the cut-out. It is tested, and the colour temperature checked against the other lights in the room.

Limits & price factors

Downlights are not included unless agreed. Enlarging or patching cut-outs and adding new downlight points are not included.

The price starts from $60 per downlight. Each additional light in the same visit starts from $40. High ceilings and different cut-out sizes take longer.
