Task guide

When this may be needed

  • A door handle has punched a hole in the wall behind it.
  • A heavy shelf or TV bracket pulled out and took the plaster with it.
  • Moving furniture gouged a hole in a corridor wall.
  • A hole in a BTO drywall partition is larger than a coin.
  • You are handing back a rented flat.

What the team does

The technician cuts the damaged edges back to firm material. In a drywall partition, a backing piece is fitted behind the hole so the filler has support. In concrete or brick, the hole is cleaned and filled in layers so each layer sets properly. Once dry, the surface is sanded flush and checked for dips under a light. A door stopper is suggested where a handle caused the hole, so it doesn't happen again.

Included in this price

Limits & price factors

Painting is not included in this price; the wall patch with touch-up painting task covers it. Supplying a door stopper and repairing damaged tiles are not included.

The price starts from $120 per hole. Several holes, drywall needing a backing piece and holes near corners take longer.
