TV Mounting
Mount an 85 Inch or Larger TV in Singapore
Mounting a TV above 75 inches, such as an 85 or 98 inch screen, starts from $150 at SG QuickFix, including a bracket you supply. TVs this large are best fixed to concrete or brick, need a heavy-duty bracket, and are lifted on by two people. Getting the TV into the flat, through the lift and doorway, is worth checking before you buy.

Task guide
When this may be needed
- An 85 or 98 inch TV is replacing a smaller TV.
- The screen is wider than the console, so it can't stand safely.
- The only suitable wall is a partition.
- The TV box may not fit the lift or the corridor turn.
- The bracket must be centred on a wide wall with exact spacing.
What the team does
The technician checks the TV's weight and VESA pattern, the bracket's rating and the wall. Concrete or brick is preferred for a TV of this size; a partition wall is assessed before any drilling. The outline is marked with you, the wall is checked for concealed wiring, and the bracket is fixed with heavy-duty anchors and levelled across its full width. Two people lift the TV onto the bracket, and the locking bolts are secured.
Included in this price
- Assessing the wall for a very large TV
- Marking the outline with you and checking for concealed wiring
- Fixing a heavy-duty bracket and levelling it
- Two-person lift and securing the TV
Limits & price factors
Carrying the TV up stairs where it won't fit the lift, cable management, tile walls and removing an existing TV are not included in the base price.
The price starts from $150 and depends on the TV's weight, the bracket and the wall. Swing-arm brackets are generally not used for TVs this size. Very heavy screens may need more anchors or a mounting position on a different wall.
FAQs
At SG QuickFix, mounting a TV above 75 inches starts from $150, including installing your own bracket.
It depends on the wall and the TV's weight. Concrete or brick is preferred. A partition wall is assessed on site before any drilling, and another wall may be recommended.
Check the box size against your lift's internal dimensions before buying. Large TV boxes are often too long for HDB lifts and have to be tilted or carried up the stairs.
About 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the wall and bracket.
