Furniture Assembly

Wardrobe Assembly in Singapore

Standard wardrobe assembly starts from $90 at SG QuickFix. Two- and three-door flat-pack wardrobes from IKEA, Taobao, Shopee and local shops are built in the bedroom, fixed to the wall so they can't tip, and finished with the doors aligned. Most standard wardrobes take 1.5 to 3 hours.

Task guide

When this may be needed

  • A new wardrobe has arrived flat-packed with hundreds of parts.
  • Wardrobe doors hang unevenly or won't close after self-assembly.
  • The wardrobe leans or sways because the back panel was not fitted square.
  • A tall wardrobe needs anchoring but the wall is drywall.
  • A sliding-door wardrobe's doors jump off their track.

What the team does

The technician checks the parts and assembles the wardrobe in the bedroom, because a built wardrobe rarely fits through a doorway. The carcass is squared and the back panel fitted, then the wardrobe is stood up and fixed to the wall. Hinged doors are hung and their hinges adjusted for even gaps, or sliding doors are fitted to their tracks and adjusted to run smoothly. Rails, shelves and drawers are fitted last.

Included in this price

  • Assembling the carcass and back panel square
  • Standing up and fixing the wardrobe to the wall
  • Hanging and aligning hinged or sliding doors
  • Fitting rails, shelves and drawers

Limits & price factors

Large IKEA PAX wardrobes are priced separately, from $150. Built-in wardrobes, cutting to fit and disposing of an old wardrobe are not included.

The $90 starting price covers a standard two- or three-door wardrobe. Mirrored doors, sliding doors, many drawers and anchoring into a household shelter wall or tiles take longer. Send the product name for a confirmed price.
